There is many choices and attachments offered for lift trucks. While most attachments are manufactured to be used on typical lift trucks, there are some designed to be utilized on VNA and reach trucks. It is very important to note that OSHA requires approval for any kind of attachment that should be approved for use by the specific lift truck manufacturer.

The sideshift attachment is considered to be standard lift truck device. The sideshift apparatus enables the fork carriage to slide left and right as well as allow for more accurate load placement. The sideshift enables the operator to be more versatile with the machinery.

The fork positioner is a different attachment choice which allows the operator to adjust the forks' distance without having to get off of the truck. This particular attachment is mainly utilized in high volume operations where there is a huge range of pallet and crate sizes handled.

The fork pivot allows the forks and carriage to pivot or rotate. Used for transporting and dumping hoppers that is especially designed. These attachments are very useful for many industrial applications.

Slip sheet attachments are another attachment that are utilized where slip sheets which is a paperboard, or plastic or a sheet of cardboard which are utilized instead of pallets. The slip sheet attachments utilize a push and pull device that clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls the load onto a thin platform. Afterward, the load is pushed off the platform when the truck reaches the destination.

Drum handling attachments are available in many different designs. They are many different models attached to handle 55 gallon drums. There are some smaller types of a paper roll clamps which go around the roll and also are capable of a full 360 degree rotation. There are other kinds of drum attachments which are able to pick up a variety of drums all simultaneously.

One more option is tilt control, that enables the operator to preset the fork tilt angles. For extensions slide over the forks to help lift and move longer loads. The Carton clamp operates similar to a paper roll clamp except rather than being circular, the clamping surface is flat.
